The focus of the 11th Annual Conference of the Irish Academy of Management is to examine new ideas in the field of management and their contribution to management theory and practice. Contributions are welcome from both academics and practitioners on research that is designed to test, extend or develop management theory while making a clear contribution to management practice.

DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM

The IAM is pleased to announce their Doctoral Colloquium at this year's conference. This is a great opportunity for all PhD researchers in Business and Management studies to come together and engage with fellow researchers in reviewing current theoretical frameworks, research philosophy and methodology in their respective areas.

To Register for the Doctoral Colloquium you MUST

• Complete the Doctoral Colloquium Registration form [click to download] and e-mail to the Conference Administrator jason.flynn23@mail.dcu.ie.

• Abstracts must be submitted online at:

http://www.iamireland.com/ConferenceInformation.htm#callforabstracts

• Students are encouraged to also present their paper at the main IAM conference. Please indicate on the Doctoral Colloquium Registration form if you would like to be considered for the main conference also.

• You must register for the IAM Annual Conference and colloquium online through the IAM website. The deadline for registration and payment is 11th July 2008 [new extended deadline].
